Pricing – Knowledgebase

Overview

All Inter.link pricing is based on a combination of ports and services. All services must be attached to one or more ports. Each port can support multiple services, and services fees vary based on the product selected.

Port Pricing

Ports are priced based on two components:

    • Setup Fee for the port based on port size and contract term. There is no setup fee for a 3 year term.
      • Monthly Port Fee, which is based on port size.

      Services Pricing

      IP Transit

CIP Transit service pricing is expressed as a per Mbps unit fee, based on the size of the committed data rate (CDR), which must be at least 10% of the port size. For instance, if a customer selects a 10G port, the minimum commitment will be 1G. The higher the committed data rate, the lower the per unit fee. Every IP Transit port allows bursting above the CDR, and burst traffic is priced at the same per Mbps fee.

Inter.link offers aggregated commitments. For example, a customer can have 10G ports at 4 different locations. Aggregated commitments are not configurable in the portal. To arrange aggregated commitments, please speak with the sales team.

      IP Access

IP Access is priced in the same way as IP Transit; however, IP Access always comes with a /30 IPv4 range. But if the customer requires more IP addresses, this can be ordered separately at standard price.

The additional, variable burst amount above 10% (or more if customer signs for more commitment) is paid by the Mb price which is always similar to the Mb price of the commitment. For the calculation, we use the industry standard 95/5 percentile.

      DDoS Protection

DDos Protection always consists of a DDoS Protection Service Tier (either Plus, Premium, or Enterprise) and always comes with IP Transit as the technical base.

There is a non-recurring charge (NRC) and monthly recurring charge (MRC). Both of these depend on the specific tier that a customer chooses and also is possible to do an express set up when a customer is experiencing a DDoS attack. This express set up adds an extra cost to the standard set up.

Customers usually want to have the handover of the DDoS protection on two redundant IP Transit ports because this provides a precautionary redundancy.

For further detail on pricing differences between the tiers, please speak with the sales team.

      Flex Ethernet

Flex Ethernet pricing is based on a customer having a port and bandwidth. There are monthly recurring charges for the port and bandwidth, and the non-recurring charges are only for the port.

The market is used to a symmetric set up between ports and bandwidths so it all has to be 10G or all has to be 100G. But with Inter.link’s Flex Ethernet, one endpoint can be 100G with the same bandwidth while another endpoint in the same network can be 10G or 400G. These are seperately ordered, billed and can be upgraded/decreased seperately as well.

      Office Fiber

Inter.link usually only offers office fiber to customers who ask for dedicated internet access at office locations. This cannot be ordered via the portal at standard pricing because a third-party provider needs to be included for this service.
