How do I order and manage Cloud Connect?
Cloud Connect is designed around the same automation first approach as other inter.link services.
Order and manage Cloud Connect through the inter.link Portal or API, allowing cloud connectivity to become a part of your existing network operations and automation workflows.
Cloud Connect is being designed to support infrastructure as code workflows, with provisioning through the inter.ink Terraform provider planned.
Additional hardware or cross-connects needed
If you already have an inter.link Port, Cloud Connect is delivered over your existing port. If you don’t already have an inter.link Port, you can order the required as part of your Cloud Connect customer journey.
Can Cloud Connect be automated?
Yes, Cloud Connect follows inter.link’s API first approach and can be ordered and managed programmatically through the Inter.link API

Can I use Cloud Connect for a hybrid cloud environment?
Hybrid cloud is one of the core use cases of Cloud Connect. If your organization maintains infrastructure in a data center or on premises while running applications and workloads in the public cloud, Cloud Connect provides private connectivity between those environments through your inter.link network connection.
This can help simplify the network architecture supporting cloud migrations, distributed applications and long term hybrid infrastructure strategies.
How secure is Cloud Connect?
Cloud Connect provides private connectivity between your network and the cloud, keeping traffic off the public Internet. Each connection is logically isolated giving you a controlled and predictable path to your cloud resources.
How is Cloud Connect priced?
Cloud Connect uses flat monthly pricing based on the selected bandwidth tier and is offered on fixed-term contracts. An eligible inter.link Port is also required. If you don’t already have one, the required port is an additional service.
Cloud providers charges including applicable data transfer fees, are billed separately by the cloud provider and are not included in the inter.link pricing.
