On the 19th of May 2025, Inter.link was listed as a qualified service provider of DDoS mitigation services at the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security).
As stated by the BSI, the impact of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks can cause significant economic damage to affected institutions and even resulting in reputational damage. The BSI has compiled a list of qualified DDoS mitigation service providers in accordance with Section 3 of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSIG).

Although Inter.link has provided DDoS protection services for some years now, successful in part due to their joint venture with DDoS specialist RioRey, it is a big boost for Inter.link’s credibility to be recognised by the national cyber security authority of Germany.
Inter.link CEO and Co-Founder Theo Voss said, “One of the most important underpinnings of the Inter.link network is quality. This is not just about connectivity which is traffic-engineered for low latency, but thanks to utilising our own backbone and multiple scrubbing centres across Europe, we deliver connectivity which is protected. We are grateful to be recognised by the BSI as a qualified provider of DDoS mitigation services.”
As a provider of secure IP Transit and other connectivity offerings, Inter.link has received positive feedback from clients such as komro, a German telecommunications company who said, “Thanks to Inter.link, we can deliver a better service to our customers. Due to automation, DDoS mitigation is now much easier to handle. As a cherry on the top, we got high quality IP Transit and a provider with a green footprint.”
Since Inter.link is now recognised by the BSI, there is an even greater likelihood that clients want to test their services and see that getting connectivity and DDoS mitigation from the same provider is logical for efficient business.
