Berlin, Germany — Coming Soon — Cloud Connect is Inter.link’s approach to private connectivity, bringing dedicated cloud connections into the same automated self-service environment that customers already use to manage their Inter.link services.
Designed for businesses building hybrid and multi-cloud environments, Cloud Connect provides dedicated, scalable connectivity that is simple to deploy, easy to manage, and built for modern cloud operations.
Cloud Connect first launches with Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a planned expansion to the Microsoft Azure and Google platforms.
Private Cloud Connectivity without Traditional Complexity
As critical workloads move to the cloud, relying on the public internet can introduce unpredictable latency, congestion and additional operational complexity. Cloud Connect provides a private Layer 2 Enternet connection between an Inter.link port and the cloud helping reduce exposure to congestion and unpredictable network paths.
How Cloud Connect Works
Customers will be able to provision connectivity by selecting their Inter.link port, AWS account, bandwidth tier, VLAN, and contract term, with no additional hardware or cross-connects required when using an existing Inter.link port. Customers who do not already have an eligible Inter.link port will be able to order the required connectivity as part of the Cloud Connect purchasing journey.
Built for Automation
Cloud Connect has been designed with an API-first architecture, making it well suited to automation and infrastructure-as-code workflows. Inter.link’s existing terraform provider will support cloud connect as well, enabling cloud and network teams to integrate private connectivity directly into their existing deployment and infrastructure management processes.

AWS First, Multi-Cloud Next
The initial release of Cloud Connect will support Amazon Web Services (AWS) regions across Europe and available through the Inter.link customer portal.
Cloud Connect is built for infrastructure teams running critical workloads in the cloud, whether migrating services, building hybrid or multicloud environments, moving large volumes of data or requiring greater control over how traffic reaches cloud infrastructure
