Inter.link Certified as a Silver Google Verified Peering Provider
May 28, 2025

On the 27th of May 2025, Inter.link was certified as a Google Verified Peering Provider with Silver status.

The Verified Peering Provider program offers Google customers an alternative to Direct Peering, by identifying a group of Internet Service Providers who have demonstrated diverse and reliable connectivity to Google.

Inter.link CEO and Co-Founder Theo Voss said, “It’s very exciting for Inter.link to be recognised by Google as a verified peering provider, especially since peering is one of the key pillars we use strategically to provide high-quality connectivity across Europe and beyond.”

As a Tier 2+ Internet Service Provider, peering is very important to Inter.link.

Inter.link is building a new space with the advantages of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Internet Service Providers, becoming bigger in terms of traffic and prefixes, and aiming to be top of mind for interconnection in Europe. However, as this happens, Inter.link will keep the foundational principles of a Tier 2 provider and continue to make the right connections for the best quality.

It is only a few weeks before Inter.link reaches Gold status as a Verified Peering Provider!

How does the Verified Peering Provider program work?

Inter.link customers who use Google services need simple and highly available connectivity solutions to reach publicly available Google resources such as Workspace and other internet-facing applications. Many enterprise-level Google customers today are not interested or prepared to manage complex Direct Peering connections, or do not meet the requirements to do so.

Google customers who choose to use a Verified Peering Provider to reach Google leverage the same set of infrastructure that delivers highly-reliable services including Search, Ads, YouTube, and more. By leaving Direct Peering to the ISPs, the Verified Peering Provider program enables access all Google services without the complexities of peering.

Verified Peering Providers such as Inter.link manage Direct Peering with Google over dedicated private connectivity with redundancy requirements for each enrolled provider. With multiple tiers available, the Verified Peering Provider program allows Google customers to meet their requirements. When connecting to a Verified Peering Provider to reach Google, customers are choosing a provider that has verified diverse connectivity to Google, which enables highly available access to Google services.
