Sales Manager (f/m/d)

About the role
Working closely with the entire team, you will drive new customer acquisition while expanding services for existing wholesale and enterprise clients across our growing markets. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and be responsible for delivering above-quota sales performance either in your region or globally.
You are driven by a strong appetite to tackle complex technical and commercial challenges that are critical to our customers’ success. You will develop trusted relationships at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. This means that you have a concrete understanding of our product suites and can help identify areas that can be resolved by Inter.link’s solutions.
Your Impact
As a Sales Manager at Inter.link, you will own a defined customer segment, market, or geography and act as a key representative of the company within the global connectivity ecosystem. You will manage large-scale wholesale and enterprise accounts with complex international requirements, uncovering each customer’s unique needs and positioning Inter.link’s capabilities as mission- critical solutions. You will actively represent Inter.link at industry events, forums, and working groups.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key customers and partners
- Identify, pursue, and drive new projects while promoting Inter.link’s products and services
- Own account growth and expansion, contributing directly to regional revenue and performance targets
- Collect and process customer feedback through visits, reviews, and structured engagement
- Represent partner interests and ensure successful delivery of complex projects
- Develop competitive benchmarks, market insights, and industry analysis
- Maintain detailed account plans and organisational maps for management visibility
- Act as the central coordination point for strategic and tactical customer matters
- Stay current on industry trends, technical developments, and relevant regulations
- Define market strategies and goals per product and service in alignment with account objectives
- Lead account strategy execution in collaboration with sales support, engineering, and operations
- Take full ownership of accurate sales forecasting across the full customer lifecycle
- Attend domestic and international events to engage prospects and strengthen existing relationships
Requirements

- Experience in selling NaaS, Cloud Connectivity, IP Access/Transit, Infrastructure Security, SaaS solutions, or similar, to global wholesale and enterprise sectors.
- Proven track record of hitting and/or exceeding sales quotas.
- A self-starter and sales-oriented mindset.
- You can play strategically, use deep discovery, and work well with decision makers, stakeholders and all other parties necessary to prove your credibility and win new customers.
- You have a good understanding of and interest in cutting edge technologies, along with the appetite to continue to learn and grow.
- An analytical mind, attention to detail is essential.
- Knowledge of Global Peering, BGP/Routing, IP Transit/Access, Infrastructure Security is a strong plus.
