Your Profile

Design and Architectural Expertise: 

  • Lead the design of the software and hardware platform, ensuring it meets performance and scalability requirements. 
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight to ensure the platform's long-term growth and optimization. 

 Software Development: 

  • Develop the software platform that powers our product, incorporating the latest network engineering principles. 
  • Collaborate with the technical teams to bring architectural concepts to life. 

 Platform Deployment and Operations: 

  • Manage the deployment and day-to-day operations of the platform, ensuring it runs efficiently and reliably. 
  • Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance procedures to guarantee uninterrupted service. 

 Automation Advocate: 

  • Champion automation throughout the platform development and operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Break with established concepts of how things should be done. 

 Mentorship and Training: 

  • Mentor and train other members of the team, sharing your expertise and best practices. 
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team. 

 Professional Experience: 

  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team. 
  • Possess a proven track record in network engineering roles, demonstrating expertise in the field. 
  • Deep understanding of network architecture, routing, and switching. 
  • Experience in the development and automation of network infrastructure. 
  • Knowledge in modern DevOps and SRE practices. 
  • Use of Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration is nothing new. 
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible for automating network and infrastructure provisioning. 
  • General expertise in SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) technologies. 
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash to automate network tasks and workflows. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based networking and infrastructure, with at least one major supplier such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 
  • Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, for managing configurations and code. 
  • Experience in network security practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and threat mitigation.
  • Proficiency in network data and documentation handling using NetBox.
