About the role

As a Principal NETWORK AUTOMATION ARCHITECT at Inter.link you will play a
central role in turning the company’s product and software strategy into a
clearly prioritized development roadmap. You will own the entirety of our
network product portfolio, encompassing traditional network products and
new products and features derived from customer demand and emerging
technologies. You will work with the other Tech Leads to develop the
implementation strategy of our products and the software which underpins
them, according to the roadmap and your prioritization. Inter.link is an
automation first company; this means the person in this role needs to have
experience with software development best practices to guide the strategy
for implementing our fully automated products.

Your Impact

In this role you will be directly responsible for deciding how our network centric products are designed, how they are implemented, and the prioritization of products and features. This is a strategic role within the technical portion of the company with scope for influencing many decisions.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Be responsible for the network product development strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and vision.
  • Develop the long-term software strategy which supports the delivery of our connectivity products and their development.
  • Work with customers and other teams to understand customer and market needs, gain competitive insights, and technically assess competitor’s offerings.
  • Advocate for a user-centric approach, ensuring that customer needs are at the forefront of product development.
  • Along with the other Tech Leads, lead the technical organization and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including product requirements, user stories, and related materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including executives, engineers, and sales teams, to ensure alignment on product goals and progress.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient development processes.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate product releases, including feature prioritization and release schedules.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing maintenance.
  • Identify and solve product-related challenges and issues in a proactive manner.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuously explore new product ideas.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with software development and software development processes
  • Experience with product development (scoping, feature prioritization, planning
    work packages)
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and automation
  • Experience using relevant tooling and processes for managing product and software development (ticketing, roadmaps, estimation, etc.)
